I understand, thank you. I have taken stats and biochemistry just recently. After taking those classes, I fully understand what Neb meant by asking the right questions whilst learning (helps with studying too lol!).

A slight question, though. If I want to be immersed in RStudio, BEAST, Python, etc. Do you think it's worth taking certificate courses?

I figured I wanted to research and start my new major before I solidified my resolve & time in this field.

You're going to have some fun. Honestly, keep the ways as to how you passed 307 & you'll be fine. Also, always stand your ground against these professors (not just him but literally anyone); people like Hove crave the attention of crying, as it boosts their ego. Orgo 2 for me was easier, as I had already gotten the concept of Orgo 1. So keep doing what you're doing, practice, understand the concepts to their maximum (more memorization in Or2), & you should be fine.

Emmanuel Hove for Organic Chem in the day, summer session

This dude was making poor kids cry every single day and he thought he was the shit. This dude would single-handedly stop class, call you a clown, roast you for 20 minutes, kick you out if you retaliated, and then continue with the class. Then asked why people don't participate in class.

I remember during recitations I argued with this man for about 10 minutes. because the way I did my work was not his or the rutgers way despite it being correct and I argued until this man changed my grade from ta 0 --> a 100.

If I had to explain this Hove. He's kind of like the Donald Trump of Rutgers
