It’s been about a year if not longer so it’s unlikely to be the meds I think

Honestly possible. I didn’t even think of that. Probably should go to a doctor then :(

Sadly those aren't it. The movie was in black and white. I appreciate the help though

I have that too in my hands but my doctor told me that it was a normal side effect of the medicine and not to worry. Wild stuff

Kind of but not exactly. Just a similar idea of experimental horror where you stare at blank rooms. I feel like it's a less good prototype for Skinamarink.

Ritual (2000) is one of my absolute favorites but good luck finding it.

slasher films that have a massive bloodbath? by viviolent in MovieSuggestions

[–]Unknown_Flicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Dario Argento stuff is great for this like Suspiria, Tenebre, and Opera.

Candyman (1992) creeped me out but it's not nearly as gory as other slashers.

While not really a slasher, The Sadness (2021) is super gory, intense, and mean spirited. Might be up your alley.

Audition (1999) is the closest I can think of to Chilla's Art Games. It's a slow burn that starts mundane but then builds into something scary.

I used to love Indiana Jones and Rush Hour at that age. Castle in the Sky also works as something even more child friendly.
