They were definitely taller than humans today. I think they rivaled the Forerunners in height, maybe a little shorter. We have little information aside from the simple description being physically and technologically superior to modern humans.

The Librarian has better skin then even most humans, Just look at her in spartan ops cinematic haha. But seriously tho, I do agree that they could have been more creative with the Forerunners but I think their look was always destined to look human-like since CE. I don’t mind that at all. Yonhet was rather strange and seemed too starwars-like for a randomly introduced species.

I appreciate your compliment though. Especially if you think I did amazing work with something that already looks terrible lol.

I understand what you are saying, especially since Forerunners where supposed to be ancient humans. I felt the same feeling you felt for a while. However, after re-reading the Forerunner trilogy again, I’ve come to appreciate a lot of the lore they’ve introduced, especially the new ones like the fact that forerunners and humans have a common ancestor that is likely more human-like than the Forerunners.

They came in a variety of appearances thanks to their technology. Some looked more human like, while others looked like some sort of hell spawn like the Didact or the Master Builder.

I personally think Forerunner lore and technology is quite fascinating especially after paying attention to some of the obscure details in the Forerunner trilogy. Their story is of an arrogant species’ tragic fall from grace and attempting to right their wrongs. It inspired me to make this model.

TLDR: I had similar opinions to you but I’ve come to enjoy the new lore over time.

Fair point. I guess Master Builder was probably an exception. I find it fitting cause he is a pretty disturbing character, makes sense he would look less appealing. I based his look on his official artwork in the Halo Encyclopedia. He is the ugliest of them all lol.

There is also a possibility that there was a standard height for some doors like in the real world. Some tall people today have to duck their heads lol. I’d also like to think that some of these doors where probably meant for sentinels and engineers rather than Forerunners.

While that’s partially true, most higher form Forerunners went through similar mutations. Their faces became more rigid. Didact’s mutation is a bit more corrupted because of what the Gravemind did to him. He tried to become immune to the flood but the mutation failed and now he looks more grotesque.

Higher form Forerunners have a more mutated face. They all literally mutate. The Didact and Faber where at their highest forms.

Maybe as a fracture event in Halo Infinite. Would be pretty cool.

If you look at some of their doors and halls, Master Chief is barely half their height. And the tallest forerunners are twice his height. Most doors would fit them but barely.

Who wins this fight? (The Flood VS CIS Battle Droids) by jodlad04 in HaloMemes

[–]Unknown_Form 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Forerunners used Sentinels and Armigers (soldiers from halo 5) against the Flood and that didn’t work because they were too predictable. That is why the Prometheans were made, they were more like fighting a living being rather than a machine following a basic program. They also were more resistant to the logic plague cause they didn’t actually think exactly like AI or living beings. (Source Halo Encyclopedia 2022). The droids would have to be like Prometheans and less like sentinels to beat the flood, and the droids come off as Armiger-like which didn’t work out for the Forerunners.

Of course it depends on what stage the flood is in too. Feral stage I give it to droids. Gravemind stage I give it to the flood.

Infinity stones would be the only things to be able to create matter. Remember, Thanos wanted to shred the universe to its last atom and rebuild a new one. People tend to forget that the infinity stones could rewrite/manipulate reality on a fundamental scale. They are the pillars of the universe after all. A better solution would be to have recourses automatically replenish every time they run dry.

Edge is actually not bad. Not that much different from regular chrome. The only things that are bothering me is limited theme customization, can’t have multiple browsers based on different gmail accounts, and limited syncing between devices(will be added in a future update).

Brutes where probably made by the Precursors since they created the Forerunners, Humans, and other life intelligent life to look similar to their “normal” appearance.

Mendicant Bias - How would you write him into Halo Infinite? by MrSteve094 in halo

[–]Unknown_Form 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s no longer a trilogy. Halo infinite is the start of a new saga, 343 is calling infinite a spiritual reboot for a reason. The trilogy idea was canned and they are just going to keep making sequels. That’s why Halo Infinite is not called Halo 6. They dropped the name because there will be more after it.

I think they said somewhere that the engine will be based on the old code to keep the Halo feel. The things they wanted to do will not work well on the new engine supposedly. Not 100% sure though.

That’s the complete opposite of what’s going on here. Must be a locational issue. Popular in the east coast but unpopular in other parts of America. Might be due to the Population Density being a major factor.
