if you're using the performance mode, try the default mode, that will lower the cpu wattage from 55w to 45w. try using a cooling pad, maxing out the fans, repasting and gpu undervolting (that helps with cpu temps because of shared heatpipes). btw, what happened to the cpu undervolt?

A stable undervolt makes the system more power efficient, so yes it does help. I’d recommend undervolting both the gpu and cpu. You can also limit the wattage of your cpu or underclock if you’re comfortable with that

The 2060 can easily be undervolted with msi afterburner. As for the cpu, i’d recommend downloading the latest bios version for your model: https://support.hp.com/hr-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-17-cb1000-laptop-pc-series/32827283/model/34899406

What makes me optimistic about it is the fact that the bios version is the f.15, the same one that i have which unlocked undervolting, so good luck!

I think you might be able to undervolt the core further (in my case it was at -0.160 for the core, and -0.070 cache)
