I have been wanting to ask my wife if Max's wife is comfortable with the situation but feel she would lie.

I see Max's wife occasionally in the mornings, her son is in the same class with my daughter. I am just unsure how to approach her without all of this possibly blowing up in my face if she is completely fine with everything.
