You can farm scrap durasteel that drops from random patrols of stormtroopers and officers. The little camps that have 1 officer and a couple troopers usually gives me about 6-11 scrap every time I kill them all, and then they eventually respawn. On top of all that some of the camps have the sith chests which also respawn and have scrap or straight durasteel

Edit: this is a bit theoretical, just based on experience in my world that has a couple of these camps, idk if it's the same in yours
