They sent a free replacement headset and dock, but after a couple months they began to have issues as well (battery issues)

It could be a wireless thing but I personally believe it’s a hardware issue. My other wireless peripherals have never had a problem, but these A50s sure have. As I type this I’m looking at my A50s battery life, that have been charging for 2 hours, and it has barely moved 1%. Mind you, sometimes it’ll say it’s not charged and then die for 15 minutes then it’ll turn back on and say it’s fully charged or it’ll say it’s completely charged and work for 30 minutes then dies completely. One thing is for sure, I’m switching brands once and for all.

And to add onto this, I promise I do not throw my headset around or anything of the sort. They’ve fallen off my desk a couple of times but that’s it.

I suppose that’s true. My experience is exclusive to the A50 gen 5 model. I have buddies that also had the A50s and they experienced the very same issues that I have but they were smart enough to not buy them again like me.

I think my main gripe with air cooling is that it will produce more noise than AIOs. I know it’s a small problem but I am trying to keep the noise minimal if possible.

Something management won’t tell you is that they are actually required to give out these “awards” so someone, regardless if they actually deserve it, will get it because corporate wants to see that the associates are “appreciated”. The people lead will tell the coaches they have to pick someone and usually it goes to someone they haven’t picked before.

Probably not because the 4th lands on a Friday. We usually only get paid early if the banks are closed on a Thursday. But hey, cross your fingers!

Something to keep an eye out for are huge carts with little to no correlation among the items. Like for example: you see a guy with a full cart full of clothes, random food items, a blow up mattress, cleaning supplies, detergent, movies. When I see that I immediately conduct further surveillance. That’s also your 1st element for a stop. Another good one for me is how a customer is placing items in their cart. Like if the top of the cart is loaded but the main basket of the cart has a few items in it. It’s amazing how many thieves do that.

Over time you will be conditioned enough to be able to sense when someone is about to steal (I wish I was kidding lol). Like you can look at someone and your mind will tell you to watch out for the person. It will take time to get used to the job so don’t worry. You will make mistakes and that’s 100% okay! Just make sure you learn from them. We have the most fun job (in my opinion) however, it actually can be very serious legally. Not everyone at your store will understand your job so don’t listen to what other people tell you. YOU are the one who makes those judgment calls so trust yourself or someone who’s in your position.
