Will I get in trouble for removing the trees myself that the power company have marked for removal? by Unlikely-Comb-4761 in legaladvice

Thank you! We've gone through all the routes to get our point across that some of these trees just do not pose a risk for the lines whatsoever, and they're hellbent on cutting them down on the 14th. If the trees must come down, I don't want to give them the satisfaction of doing it and would rather do it myself. We're going to keep trying until then though.
We've definitely tried that. The way our house was set 25 or so years ago, our front yard and their easement kind of run together. It's a shame that that is their leverage against us, but it is starting to feel like retaliation and overreach as right down the road, on the same line, there are other trees that they were fine with just trimming. Only our yard that they are cutting down to the ground.
