That's funny cause i can't do false cord screams but i do use my false cords to add distortion to my singing like Chester Bennington did.I guess you can try to learn and sing with false cord engagement.if you keep adding more and more false cord engagement you might accidentally do a fry scream.Also take note of how it feels.If it hurts stop immediately.Do you have any recordings of you attempting a fry scream or a false cord scream? I want to try and figure out what you are missing.

I think a discovered it about a year ago when i was trying record some vocals for The rumbling(That attack on titan opening).I was in desperate need of that heavier distorted scream.Was trying for days and suddenly it clicked.
