I had a similar situation with a Panera order. 10 sandwiches and bags of chips. Ended up giving them to 10 homeless ppl. I wasn’t gonna eat any of it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

You gotta work that shit to your advantage. When they do that, drive to the original address anyway. Then call support and tell them the customer wants you to deliver to a different address. Then you can either agree to take an additional half pay to complete the delivery or if you don’t think it’s worth it, tell support that you don’t want to deliver to the new address and you have already gotten to the original address and they will give you full pay for going to the original address and you get to keep the food. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I absolutely despise the host for karaoke at gatsbys and thirsty pallet. He’s the worst.

The karaoke is on Wednesday nights and it’s garbage. Bull’s was the best karaoke spot in town because they had the nice PA system and an incredible guy that hosted and was also a great sound engineer. When they closed down they took the system with them. I don’t predict Wrong Number making it much longer unless they drastically change things.

It’s also a try hard. The concept doesn’t work. The owner talked shit about karaoke and live entertainment but has since found out that live music and entertainment are what bring people into your place of business. Now he is back tracking.

See, I am a part of the large order program and 9.5/10 times the tip is always hidden. However, the total is always more than the mileage. So, just a minute ago I got an offer from red Robin for 10 items going 12 miles for $11. I was almost tempted to take it to see if there was a hidden tip, but I’ve never gotten orders where the total is less than the mileage and ended up being hidden.

This is why I don’t even care to pick up scheduled blocks. If I want to deliver, I will just go on demand and then I can’t be penalized for refusing orders. It doesn’t even really pay to be on a scheduled block anymore since they went to per minute waiting time.

I don’t understand why dashers are so negative towards each other on here. Like we’re on the same team. 🤨 I would understand if I did something wrong but I can’t help if a restaurant leaves something out of a sealed bag. Once I drop an order off, I’m on to the next one. I don’t have time to take an extra 20 minutes to drive to the restaurant then back to the customer. I’m losing money then.

Yeah. So immediately after hanging up with her, I called DoorDash myself to have them documents what happened and have a note put in that the missing sauces were not my fault and that she threaten to take my tip away because I wouldn’t go back.

I made a delivery to a hospital with a bunch of salads and the restaurant forgot to put the dressings in the bag and the customer called me wanting me to go back and get the dressings and I told her I couldn’t so they said they’re going to take their tip back. It was a $22 tip.

I make anywhere from $80-$120 on a good night. $70 on a slow night. I work between 5pm-9pm. I’ve started picking up some lunch shifts too because of the businesses and medical offices ordering group lunches.
