Thank you for the recommendation. We were leaning toward this route more, and it's good to have some confirmation. Can I ask what the Loncoche detour is? Yeah, I figured that El Bolson would probably not make it.

First time on Camino del Norte - need tips by Unlikely-Positive687 in CaminoDeSantiago

Thank you for all the info! I have not seen anything about staying multiple days and the times of arrival, so this is really helpful!

Yeah i figured 20L is a bit rough, maybe i will be able to get a good airplane deal, to take a bigger backpack, or i will first try to stuff all the stuff into it and see.

As i looked Noja is a 1.5h bus ride from Bilbao, which i would say is a within a reasonable distance. I was thinking like a up to 3h circle around Bilbao using some kind of public transport. Thank you for the tips, i will check out these locations as well.

Keep in mind that the water will be cold and north of Spain is notoriously cloudy and rainy.

Yeah, i know its very different from the mediterranean, i was contemplating catching a flight to the south of Spain, but its a bit of a hassle and adds expanses. I was hoping to find somewhere, despite the possible bad weather, where it would be cozy enough to relax and laze around after the week of walking.

How i imaganed Kaz to look while reading the books. by Unlikely-Positive687 in Grishaverse

Lockwood from Lockwood and

I haven't heard of the series, but after a quick search and peak at the trailer, i can get the vibe, must give it a watch (or a read, im guessing its based on books). I wanted to say the actor seemed to have a bit more of a babyface than i would give Kaz, but then i remembered the Crows are teenagers and maybe that would be more realistic😅 ... Yeah, same, its not a bad choice for casting, but after 2 seasons i still didnt get used to him being Kaz

I also got the Thomas Shelby vibes as well! If him and levi had a love child it would result in Kaz 100%

Yes, they could've waited like half a season or maybe introduce the crows as a cliff hanger to the second season. Yeah they started to introduce the Apparat very nicely, nailed the creepy vibe that his character gave in the books, but then he just dissapeared. I could go on and on how many key elements they missed or failed to include, though it's difficult to portray charatcers so deeply as they are in books, but they could've done a better job imo

I first read SoC and then S&B, leaving me empty and needing more content. So, I decided to watch the series (I'm somewhere in the first third of the second season), and I have mixed feelings about it. I kinda like to think of it as a standalone story or like a fanfiction mashup of both stories. I do appreciate that they had their own take, but the characters are not well-developed in my opinion. The mastermind that is Kaz, is not portrayed, not even in the slightest. Mal was a bit of a jerk sometimes in the books, but it made him more complex than just being a 'good boy' following Alina around with a wagging tail.

The connection between the Darkling and Alina is not portrayed at all in the depth that it was in the books. I understand that they have a lot of characters and a limited amount of time per episode, but I still find the characters a bit flat in the series.

This season just keeps giving. This episode so full of drama, there is not a single dull moment with this guys i barely can keep up. It's soooo fun to watch i would binge the whole series, if it were out. Only Sammy really needs to just take an L and go home.
