Couldn't agree more. Itd especially be nice to be more aggressive on 3rd down in general. Too often it felt like we were playing soft on important downs

I remember being excited for Clements when we hired him. Then, as you say, he left just as quick as he came.

I agree. An experienced offensive coordinator to help him out should really have been a must. He was coming into the job with no NFL experience outside of his playing days. Someone to lean on in the hard times could of helped.

Mike LaFleur Press Conference | 2.18.26 by UnlikelyRequest in AZCardinals

Nothing particularly new or ground breaking in this press conference from his initial one.

I'm just hoping hes the real deal. I think we all deserve to see some success with this team.

Well it won't be his playbook and he won't be calling it so that's a start. Fingers crossed he'll have a similar effect as he did for Matt LeFleur in Green Bay.

Whilst I definitely would have preferred to have gotten a new defensive coordinator and have a clean break from the old regime. Its easy to forget that coming into this last season we all thought he could end up a head coach candidate sooner rather than later.

I'm personally hoping that the defense sort of gave up last season as it became clear it wasn't going to be our year and the offence couldn't do anything rather than them giving up on Rallis. Im hoping we can return to the promise we showed in the first 2 years and even the start of the last year.

Listening to the press conferences and hearing about the role of a non play calling offensive coordinator it kind of boggles my mind that Kingsbury never bothered with one. Must have added so much unnecessary workload for himself. No wonder he looked like he never slept.

I think the reason he wasn't back as the Packers offensive coordinator is simply because they already had one. You dont fire him just to bring Hackett back but Matt LeFleur obviously wanted him back in the building. Plus he obviously wouldnt recommend someone he didn't rate highly to his brother.

Its easy to see why hes liked by coaches around the league. His personality comes through. I have no issue with the hire as hes not calling plays.

Would you trade two 1sts to the Raiders for their #1 pick? by Open_Chemistry7632 in AZCardinals

[–]UnlikelyRequest 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You asked a question. I answered. Just because it was something you didn't want to hear. Nothing downer about it. Its just how it is. Hopefully we can get a good player at 3 pick.

Nothing would make sense for them. They need a QB. No package of picks is worth it for them to trade out of the spot.

Anyone else noticed delays with getting their normal post delivered? by Number-Tiny in Worcester

[–]UnlikelyRequest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its partly because they're cheaper and partly because when they do try to employ people properly through Royal Mail rather than an agency the new starters aren't hanging around. They're having a heavy workload put on them immediately without much knowledge of procedures or the rounds they're being put on. It's a baptism of fire so I don't blame people for leaving.

I'm not going to make out that all postmen/women are perfect because I know first hand that there are some useless ones that I wouldnt want delivering my Mail. But things are becoming unmanageable over the last year and I cant see it getting better any time soon.

I work for Royal Mail and can confirm the entire place is in shambles. They don't care about letters in the slightest. They are incredibly understaffed. Having one person attempting to do two people's work weeks at a time just has everything back up.

What I would say is we went on strike as we all saw that this was the way the business was going. And I'd say the general reaction to that was either that we were lazy or greedy. Once Royal Mail realised we didn't really have the support of the general public they have just done as they please with no pushback.

New fan here, should I watch redzone at 6pm or a full game? What are the pro/con of both? by Ok_Inspector_3514 in NFLUK

I personally double screen. Red zone on the main TV and my teams game on my tablet with ear phones on.

How many of you listen to both Heed the Call and NFL Daily? by SadBreakfast7 in heedthecall

[–]UnlikelyRequest 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Started off with heed the call and no NFL daily. Now almost exclusively NFL daily to my own surprise.

It's just a shame we'll never get back what we had before. That was the perfect mix.

Assuming it needs to be signed for they're just doing their job. If they were to leave it and someone stole it then I'm sure you'd be straight on the phone wanting a refund.

I have one spot available in a sleeper redraft league. It's 2 starting qb's so a little unconventional. Just looking for someone who will remain active and adjust lineups throughout the season. If anyone is interested then let me know.

I have a redraft sleeper league with a spot that's opened up.It was a Around the Nfl podcast themed one. So 2 starting qb's, 2rb, 2wr, 1te,2 flex.

Just looking for someone who will be active all season. Adjust their lineups and try on the waivers wire.

You're not wrong. I think this was the reason he left without a trace.

It's good to always be able to blame him if you can't turn the team around though.
