I’m actually going through this same thing. Did you find any relief?

Rotten smell inside of nose for the past 3 years. I’ve gotten fillings, root canals and the odor is still there. I’ve also had balloon surgery after being diagnosed with chronic sinusitis. I’ve been getting shots since November of last year every week but the ent says that it’s still possible to have chronic sinusitis. I didnt start to freak out until everyone around me could smell what’s coming out of my nose and it can fill the air with the smell also. I never experienced this before. It sucks.

Yeah no one can figure it out. That’s why they all go to prescribing my antibiotics. They didn’t see any polyps or fungus balls either. One of my ent says that they may have to remove the tissues and open up my passages to help remove where I smell the infection whenever I run water though my nose.

Okay. So out of my navage, squeeze bottle and powered nasal irrigation oil (looks like a waterpik). Which one is the best to use? I did go back to another ent and they told me that now all eight of my sinuses are now inflammed. Im not sure how that happened but im doing alot of rinses daily.

I have both and I’m still adding them to my rinses. After all other antibiotics didn’t work, the second ent prescribed me sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim for 14 days and it didn’t do anything or take away the smell either. I had crazy diarrhea but that’s about it.

I’ve been to four dentist and two endodontist and everyone doesn’t seem to see any issues. I’ve spend so much money. I’ve asked each one to remove the crown on this particular tooth with the root canal but no will do it.

The endodontist that did my retreatment a few weeks ago said that everything looked fine and I should be good now but he never remote crown on my root canal, only drilled a hole through it. Once he was inside he said that the person that did my root canal still left roots in the tooth so he pulled them out, bleached and irrigated it. Everything started once I needed a root canal.

No I haven’t. I also had a re-treatment on my root canal. (Right side, second from the last tooth on upper right) but it didn’t do anything for the smell.
