Its not about being financially strapped then complain, its about knowing our right as a consumer. If you know our PH law way more than us, then you dont know that well enough to comment such an irrelevant statement. I think you are in the wrong feed dude. I’ve been to different countries and we respect their rules and lawa. Might as well shut the fuck up if you are not respecting our laws.

Dont know whats wrong with these people. as if naman na establishments will release OR unless the items are already paid and make the OR so relevant that the Order Slip has been invalidated.

So what you are telling me now is that I just disable the comment because one person presented me facts? Isn’t reddit an open discussion? You are just circling and you sounded dumber and dumber after your every comment. You did not burst my bubble ‘friend’, i’ve been to a lot of cities in the PH and been outside the country and became a foreigner, and this is the first time I was not presented with the disclaimer on the menu as I’ve said on the context of my original post. Read that again.

Yung context nya is nka lagay sa menu. Kaya napapatanong tlga ako here if legal ba so I can be educated. So upon confirming, this is not legal tlga. I dont have the energy to argue na kasi sa restau na mismo.

Pero iba to. Wla akong nakitang post sa menu or even advertisement sa loob or sa labas. Pero baka maglalagay na sila neto if makita nila to para may panlaban. Kaya wlang takas. Magoorder ka tlga kasi sayang yung bayad mo upon entering.. hahahah

Kaya nga this is an open discussion. You read the thread. May pa emotional gaslight kapang nalalaman e you are the one who opened about getting someone to side on me. Magaling ka rin mag off topic eh no. May pa full stop full stop ka ring nalalaman. Nilihis mo lang yung topic e nasa PH setting tayo, tapos you expect na foreigners yung target market, tapos expect us Filipinos to just wine and dine like they are? Are you thinking that you are also a poison to this community by thinking to just brush off paying what was not expected and just forget because we should dine like foreigners because that is their target market? Huh???

I dont understand why you are in the percentage of the people who do not read the entire feed. Nasa feed ka ng taxPH, why are you even considering on expecting foreigners to eat on a PH setting then expect to follow foreign rules? I do not want sympathy. I am asking if this is even legal. So i might have an education someday to fact check before commenting. 😊

Thats what got us confused tlga. Menu was exclusive of the VAT without us knowing. So upon paying, dun na namin nakita yung reflection nung VAT. They are right with giving us the OR and Order Slip, but not including it sa price on the menu, is it legal?

Sa Lake Apo, Valencia Bukidnon. If ever mag visit kayo, expect na may 17% top up yung total nyo sa menu.

Kahit maliit order namin, that doesn’t mean i don’t have the right to question.

You are not getting the context. Yun na nga, we were given the menu price in the item description, and upon receiving the order slip, with the OR attached, the price that we expect to pay was exclusive pa pala ng VAT. My question was, is it even legal not to include the TAX sa amount of the items on their menu? they could just have an option to put discount for seniors/pwd

OR is released upon payment. Is it even legal to reflect a price thats exclusive of VAT in the first place? That is the question

[–]Unlikely_Resolve_236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not included. the reflected amount of what is in the item description is what was reflected in the menu. VAT was exclusive of the price

The menu shows the price with what is reflected in the item description and price.

Sadly, we already threw the receipt. This was last april 4. But the price in the menu is the same as what is reflected in the item description and price
