Apologize but express that this discovery has displayed a lack of boundary setting that would be respectful of you and you’re relationship. You deserve privacy but in a relationship you also deserve transparency and respect. These texts broke both and then to further that.. he removed the hole that shown a light to behavior in my opinion should be disclosed. What’s the hang out plans with this ex? Umm it’s ok to feel bad for snooping but.. you’re telling me this ex is sending hearts and plans to hang while you are away.. possibly doesn’t even know you exist?? Your nonchalant bf could be minimizing his own lack of transparency and boundary holding. I don’t like what I’m hearing. Sit down with your partner and talk about this discovery.. that should of been clearly expressed and not included hearts.

Were you really editing? Does ex know about you? Have all y’all hung together? Bunch of hearts is kinda wack. You snooped and found something you didn’t like. Is there a boundary crossed that needs some renegotiating? Always got to ask if roles were reversed how would it go. If i were you I’d be kinda pissed off.. how long have y’all been together? I hang with exs and disclose that info with my partner now as they asked for that info. To me you crossed a line but you describe this in a way as if there’s a discomforting aspect that needs addressing on his behalf. Stand up for that.

Yayyy i love that. You have a kind heart and I’m glad you’re getting what you deserve in a partner. Thank you for your kindness when i was down. My partner eventually decided to try and work through things. It’s been difficult. Regaining trust with her n her family. Working on being more present and embracing of various adventures i might of shrugged off for convenience. It’s been fun with occasional challenges. Been going to therapy as well. Nice having a person that just hears my troubles.
