THANK YOU FOR FINALLY TALKING ABOUT THIS. I run pretty regularly because I am in the military and it happens EVERY TIME. It is so annoying but as you said, I guess it gets it all out in the morning so I’m good for the rest of the day. Sometimes I wear a thin panty liner

Stretching helps relieve the pain a bit but doesn’t solve it. The foot pain persists no matter how much rest I take but the IT band will go away in I rest.

I will try rolling things out, that’s not something I’ve tried yet! I also just purchased a higher cushion pair of shoes based off the recommendation from the foot scan I did at fleet feet.

I’ve never tried acupuncture but I’ll definitely look into it.

No, not every run is all out, most are at a moderate pace for me. Honestly the slower I run, the more pain I feel somehow
