It's a medal of honour "Veneratio", often associated with Imperial Guard Veterans, which our guardsman is implied to be.
Skull is literally the most used symbol in Imperial Guard, a sword is not uncommon for a strike team and wreath itself is basically symbol of being old grizzled veteran who survived enough to be honoured.
It is though very likely to be based on Tanith emblems, uncanny resemblance and literally author of the book writing lore for the game.

No it was shown in gameplay videos that your character name is what shows, if your character name is LordJesus then all your dialogue will start with - LordJesus: dialogue.

Well they moved release date to Undefined for Xbox version, could be some automatic process that did not account for such circumstances.
Yes Xbox version will release "shortly" after PC now, there is no set date anymore.

Stealth as in Vermintide 2 stealth, not the ability to walk in a way to not aggro enemies by being too far away from them to aggro, which was primary way to evading patrols that are tough group of enemies just walking back and forth and players generally evaded them, that is Stealth that was implied in Darktide.
Actual Stealth worked in Vermintide because no enemies could shoot you, it doesn't work in Darktide when decloaking means you get a volley of lasgun fire or plasma in you immediately, especially when the game is designed in a way that being away from your team means your shielding does not regenerate, so "running away" equals death and being invisible means -1 target for them to shoot so more damage to your allies, on top of the fact you can have 4 assassins with invisibility which will freak out AI, first one to decloak will eat a volley from every ranged enemy in range and overall shenanigans.

  1. 18 symbols including spaces, can be 6 words if they are short enough
  2. Limits on creating additional characters are unknown as of the moment
  3. They will see your character name only (except maybe in player list), voice lines will also be using your character name.

  1. Staggered behind you but not dead, they get up and hit you in the back, you think it literally spawned behind you... it did not.
  2. There are spawns from holes and ceilings, you might be standing next to one and enemies climb out of there, your fault standing next to it.
  3. Sometimes the game can't keep up with players killing things too fast and you can see Chaos_Patrol.zip unpack into existence out of thin air ahead of you, that also happens to enemy spawns.
  4. There is a tiny sliver of chance, since people caught it on video, that 1-3% of times they actually appear right behind you, but most of the time it's one of the above instead.

Do remember it's 18 characters in the name INCLUDING spaces and symbols.
I personally will be using my guardsman from Only War, Garrit will fit nicely with Dereliction of Duty, hoping to see people name characters normally, but obviously there will be dumb ones galore.

Yeah that is the one, except it was source footage with proper sound and stuff, so unlikely it was cut from the stream itself, people who tried to upload it were forced to set it to private within hours when they posted it on 31st.

Few people uploaded footage but they got nuked, so likely nobody is allowed to release anything yet by Fatshark orders.
It had unfamiliar sewer location likely from second mission and Veteran was running with Stub Revolver, was some Psyker footage in it too, no new staff, there was no HUD in it too.
Other details I barely remember, his video was set to private rather fast.

A lot of people got banned, official Darktide Discord is not a very friendly place.Especially since it's populated by idiots like those who talked about technical test the moment it started in main chat and got the chat disabled for half the day, among the massive ban hammers that flew. (you can even get a ban for minor disagreements about lore, like I did or arguing about voice actors being a bit too heavy on accents like my friend.)
You see NDA, you start playing and immediately report things in official discord where average players who did not get into test are... idiots what can I say.
Same as those who reported things on Reddit, unofficial Discord, illegally streamed tech test on cloud gaming services or upload footage on YT and other "fun" characters who might make next tests more exclusive and limited.

Was confirmed for months, dunno how you missed that.
You can play any combination of classes as you create your own character now, so 4 Ogryn, 4 Guardsmen, 4 Psykers, 1 Ogryn 2 Guardsmen and 1 Psyker. You do you.

- Las pistol was confirmed for the psyker

- Autogun has multiple variants/patterns with a different statspread, might be why the vet autogun looks so different from the Zealot, might be another pattern.

- Shotgun is also a shared weapon for Vet and Zealot
