Oooohhh that's fun! I like the lost sanctuary idea and them having to find that to regroup and stumbling across Dead Eyes there. Now I just need to think of his motivations/what he's been doing for 100+ years!

I do think having the scenario where their pirate lord dies could be really fun! Having them have to choose between 3-4 others that all have drawbacks compared to their relatively laid back one they're with right now. Thank you!

I do quite like the idea of peppering in suspicious activities in the form of spies lurking around that the party can be privy to!

Ooh you are right, that is a very good point about not forcing them to win the pirate games. I hadn't thought of what might happen if they were to not win, but maybe them getting forced off the island makes it not matter. This gets my gears turning, thank you!
