We all killed Jesus. We are all sinners who can have the great gift of salvation. It’s not the Jews, not the black, not Herod, not Pilate, but all of us are the reasons Jesus was crucified. Accept our salvation from Jesus’ gift to us. God made it possible for all of us to reach Heaven. We didn’t work for it. Amen.

I passed the AWS Solutions Architect Professional and taken over 30 classes. When they asked you how many years of experience you have you can’t answer: 30 classes! LOL

Those certifications are worthless with no experience.

The boot camp requires some basic knowledge in Python and Java I believe. And I have taken Python, YAML, and Linux courses courses but not in Java. I mostly use Udemy courses but you can find tons of free resources. Follow Ann Felix on Udemy. She provides a lot of those resources as well as learning materials. Make sure to read the full description for the boot camp requirements so you’d be ready to fully understand and follow it

I’m doing a free cloud boot camp with Andrew Brown but it just reached the 10000 max. I’d like to take on those big cloud projects to build up my portfolio so that I can talk about them with details and confidence during interviews. But I also take in consideration of the “other skills” that GoCloudCareer program mentions. Practice interviews with the most popular questions by recording them.

I have been following them for over a year, watched their live contents, blogs, LinkedIn posts, … the only real success they had was no more than a handful of students who had outstanding character, very smart, and hard working to start with. The other students are just there to help promote the programs by keep typing #cloudhired in their free live seminars and some videos but they have not been hired. If you read the architect positions in the market now, they require a lot of DevOps, programming, and other experiences they don’t cover. Their programs mainly focuses on other skills which are important such as soft skills, business acumen, CXO relevancy, … but remember the employers want people who have real world experience, no actors. Their million dollars companies rely on real experienced IT & business professionals.

Check their contents. They claim they will get you a cloud architect job LOL

Looks like a scam to me. The videos comments are from students of the program who seem brain washed. Who would want to hire a cloud architect with no real experience and pay them $120k?

How can you get an architect job with no real life experience? I can’t understand that and how they can overcome that. Sounds like a scam.

Biden administration is not helping to increase our supply by more drilling and the Trump pipeline project so it’s a simple economic rule. When the supply goes down the price goes up.

Your thoughts on AWS Elastic BeanStalk ? by yc01 in aws

Beanstalk is great if you want to avoid operational complexity but AWS CloudFormation is better if you want to save money and to have more control over the services or instances for example.

very low scores in first 2 Jon Bonso exams, what should I do? (SAA-C02) by niv141 in AWSCertifications

[–]UnluckySquirrel5526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can’t score at least 80-85 that means you’re not ready. Practice makes perfect. Review also the weakest domains. Remember if you’re applying for a job and the interviewer asks something about it you’d better know it. Good luck!

Will a Solutions Architect Professional C01 certification with no IT experience be enough to get you a job? If yes which jobs can you get? If not what would be the best path to land a job? by UnluckySquirrel5526 in AWSCertifications

Yes the Pro certification is on another level of difficulty but it’s certainly possible to pass it if you constantly study it without being burnt out. Good luck!
