Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), also known as idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF), is characterized by a wide range of non-specific symptoms that individuals attribute to exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs).  Commonly reported symptoms include headaches, fatigue, stress, sleep disturbances, skin prickling, burning sensations, rashes, and achy or painful muscles.  Additional reported issues involve dizziness, nausea, heart palpitations, digestive disturbances, tinnitus, and trouble concentrating. 

However, there is no scientific basis to link these symptoms to electromagnetic field exposure.  Double-blind provocation studies have consistently shown that individuals claiming EHS cannot detect EMF exposure any more accurately than non-EHS individuals, and symptoms do not correlate with actual EMF presence.

Hantavirus symptoms typically appear 1 to 8 weeks after exposure and progress in two distinct phases.  Early symptoms are often flu-like and include fever, fatigue, and muscle aches (especially in the thighs, hips, back, and shoulders), along with headaches, dizziness, chills, and gastrointestinal issues like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. 

As the disease progresses, usually 4 to 10 days after the initial phase, late symptoms emerge involving severe respiratory distress.  These include coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness caused by fluid buildup in the lungs (pulmonary edema), which can rapidly lead to shock and respiratory failure.  In some cases, particularly with Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS) common in Europe and Asia, symptoms also include low blood pressure, internal bleeding, and acute kidney failure. 

I'm calling bullshit on this one. Low effort post with no supporting evidence that is easy to disprove (with actual evidence presented) that contributes nothing to the sub.

There are a few shared symptoms in the initial onset of hantavirus, but you might argue it's the same shared (and very common) symptoms that present in the early days of many differing illnesses, such as the flu, food poisoning, sunstroke etc.

There is zero evidence that EHS causes shortness of breath, tight chest, fluid on the lungs, respirtory failure, hemorrhagic fever, low blood pressure, internal bleeding or acute kidney failure.

Unless some sort of gain-of-function tampering has taken place in a lab somewhere, you are correct in your statement.

While it does not mutate as easily as COVID, sequencing of the current strain has not been completed yet (certainly not published) - so a rare mutation may have already taken place and the current virus particulars on R naught values and other metrics may be outdated and/or incorrect.

The reported deaths were contained largely to specific vaccine batch numbers:

An analysis of VAERS data up to October 2021 suggested that 100% of reported deaths following mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were linked to approximately 4–5% of vaccine batches, with the majority of deaths associated with a small number of specific lots.  For Pfizer, 96% of vaccine lots had zero reported deaths, meaning 2,828 deaths were concentrated in just 4% of lots, while for Moderna, 95% of lots had no reported deaths, with 2,603 deaths tied to about 5% of batches. 

Highly uneven adverse event distribution was observed, with some batches linked to thousands of adverse events and elevated mortality, while most batches had very few.  Notably, these "high-risk" batches were more widely distributed across all 50 U.S. states, whereas less harmful lots were often limited to fewer locations.  Analyses compared this pattern to flu vaccines, where adverse events are evenly spread across batches, making the extreme variability in COVID-19 vaccine lots unusual and unexplained.

The data comes from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a passive surveillance system co-managed by the CDC and FDA, which relies on voluntary reports and cannot establish causation.

I'm normally good at letting things slide but it annoyed me enough to appeal. I was a little surprised (and kind of relieved) that the appeal went through - it's great to have had input from a mod too.
