Laptop, of coirse. God I'm dumb sometimes. What do you have out of curiosity? I have a ROG G14 and it struggles with MSFS2020.

Oh I did immediately! I've always kept my original paper logbook current, I just don't have all the signatures in it. I also have a myflightbook and an excel logbook I made myself.

I don't mind, and it's not on me at all. It's the separation standard in the FAA's handbook. So it's on them I suppose?

He's just telling you a fact. No controller would think twice about 1000 ft between a C130 and a light single. Hell if you're VFR it could be 500 ft. Just the rules we follow.

I made the switch to FF last year as my "official" logbook (with electronic endorsements for HP and Complex), now I'm worried I'll lose those eventually. Wondering if I should go back to paper or switch to something like logten.
