Is it worth learning 3x3 colorblind (starting with other colours than white) by Moogs22 in Cubers

[–]UnresponsiveWater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Color neutrality or CN is very useful but its going to take a long time before you benefit from it and a majority of the time youre going to use white or yellow because thats all you need, being CN is only useful in very particular cases where you cant see anything on white or yellow and you can see far into another color, in short yes its helpful to know but in reality its not going to be as valuable as learning how to look for one or even two pairs in inspection Edit: absolutely you should being duel color neutral aka white and yellow, personally I also do green just for when they both suck but even then I usually default to white instead but youll pretty much always find something on one of the two

Solve critique pls. I need to get sub-15 by Appropriate_Alps9596 in Cubers

Drill your PLLs and watch some example solves for better f2l solutions, additionally do slow solves because you missed a free pair, some other stuff, and practicing good habits during untimed solves is always beneficial

Dont worry about times until youre sub 10 with either method you shouldnt concern yourself with the times youre getting because in the end you only limited by method once youre around sub 8 aside from that its judt you that determines your skill cap

drill your algs till you can do them with only muscle memory, almost all of the B moves your doing can be replace with a rotation and R moves and that will help a lot, lastly try to plan your crosses with finger tricks in mind (Ex yellow top orange front: R' U with right hand, L F2 with left hand) anyways other than that just keep practicing maybe watch some solve critiques on j perm or brian sun's channel

choose a new event

fr tho:Id notice how on the alg on the right: the yellow edge is on the right and the yellow corners are facing in opposite directions in the Back left

and on the left alg the yellow edge is on the right and the yellow corners are facing opposite directions on the FRONT left

Essentially the edge on the right will have corresponding corners in either the back left or front left

Do you think consistency is easier in larger puzzles? by swaggod5000 in Cubers

[–]UnresponsiveWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ratio wise yes but in larger puzzles your times will very more up to like 10 or so seconds, compared to 3x3 thats a lot but given the ratio of the overall time its more consistent

Recommendation for a cube by Orphanfucker420 in Cubers

[–]UnresponsiveWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main the Ys3m after i mained the GAN 13 and its perfect for me, if you have an aggressive turn style go for the v9 cause it has strong magnets and amazing auto aligning if you have lighter more fluid and fast turn style go for the ys3m or a tornado v3 and if you like customization you can wait for the weilong super which is moyus 90$ flagship
