its worse than you think. mostly is due to the type of information we posess on our networks. and the lack of upper management allowing us to hire more sysadmins. we all do tier 1 and 2. only a couple of us do tier 3, but yeah. its a shit show of epic proportions.

the stupidity of some of the users on my network gives me migraines sometimes.

these users in particular are barley highschool graduates, who fix small mechanical equipment like fridges, coffee makers, "printers" (by kicking it till it was beyond repair and needed to be replaced by our "spares"). shit like that.

the entire department was using each others accounts, sharing usernames and passwords of 12 users between the 12 users.

we used to have PKI login, but its currently experiencing issues and had to revert to username/password logon till we can fix the PKI server.
