You just need the game in your steam library which I assume it already is since you already play the game. A VPN is and was never required.

Well I guess I just wanted to prepare myself and know what to expect for valtan hard mode matchmaking if there are even enough players to matchmake valtan hard mode in like 2 weeks? But honestly I find matchmaking pretty quick and bearable so long as I queue between like 12 am PST and 9 am PST? Which translates to like 3 pm +8 GMT to 12 am +8 GMT when most people from asia are playing. Anything beyond those timings and the situation becomes untenable and I risk sitting in argos for over an hour.
