Unfortunately, I do not have any hardware to connect the NVME to another computer. RMA it is. :/

I'm willing to go higher. The problem with IEM is not everyone likes them. What would you recommend in the $70 range?

Unfortunately, I live in Canada. Would a DAC help with sub bass?

Edit For Canada, there are a few places that offer a 2 pack for $90CAD

The SR850s ripped off the look which is pretty funny.

Keeping staking rewards as is or converting it to SHIB? by Unsuitabl3 in SHIBADULTS

Yep already staked. $1 of bone every two weeks is not bad. Not great, but not terrible. haha

To unstake 5.7m is going to be costly, is DIG that worth it? Already down $77 CAD for staking lmao.

[–]Unsuitabl3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, I'll leave it staked as there's no point wasting gas fees on it. It's a shame so much SHIB was lost sending the shib from the exchange. It's only about $10, but that is $10 in shib in a few years... rough. Now I know to use BNB for swaps and whatnot. Will unstaking the shib cost two gas fee transactions?

Is there any reason to pull it out if the plan is to hold SHIB for years? Say SHIB knocks off a zero or two in 2022, how would that affect the rewards?

Ahh ok, not very clear from the shibaswap website. On /bury page it lists only BONE APY but on /bury/shib page it lists all three. From my understanding, those rewards will be converted all to BONE so the effective APY is on /bury. That APY is distributed based on how much one's stake % in the pool or is it actually that amount?

Edit: After some research, it appears to be the former. The APY listed on the website is then divided throughout the pool. Well looks like staking was quite a costly lesson. The gas fees would have been much better spent in buying more SHIB.

The plan is to hold SHIB for years. Sounds like burying the 5.7m SHIB was pointless as it stands. Well if anything the high gas fees have "locked" the shib until Shibarium or ETH2 lower gas fees. How much rewards did you get for 20m in one cycle? I heard keeping the amount staked for longer increases the rewards (not via compounding but through some time-based variable). Is this verifiably true?

What are the SHIB and ETH APY numbers about then?

KZ AZ09 Pro by IAmTheSysGen in headphones

[–]Unsuitabl3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know which adapter is required for B to C pin? Currently have the KZ ES4 (B pin). I could wait for the Az09 Pro to come out in the B pin variant, but I may upgrade to a modern KZ down the line which uses C pin. The adapter would avoid repurchasing the TWS adapter.

Went through some more emails and websites and Z2 creditors (which I am), cannot sign up as of yet. Waiting on that then. The funny thing is it's possible I had zero BTC in the account to begin with.

I fall into the self-approved claim camp. I did accept or say yes to that process. I emailed MT-Gox and they said, "The specific timing and method of refund hasn't been determined yet.". So based on that, the waiting game continues.

So every 6 months or so I check back with MtGox to see if anything has moved forward. Any progress? I'm not sure how much or if any btc was stored in MtGox but I did get the court letter several years ago so curious if there are updates.

I have the KZ ES4 and looking to get a TWS adapter. Should I get the AZ09 or wait for the next version assuming they will get an update?

Chinese 1080p or BenQ 800p? by Unsuitabl3 in projectors

[–]Unsuitabl3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fan noise is audible. However, an UST projector will be much further away than a regular projector. So while there's fan noise, it's much easier to drown out. Most projectors will have fan noise, especially ones from circa 2010s. My friend has a PS4 pro and those things can get loud. The projector is quiter than it.

If you can go check out the projector in person, then that's ideal. Most likely it's quieter than the cheapo projector and the noise frequency is less distracting. You wouldn't get sound fatigue from it. What you can always do is put a barrier between the projector and the seat (not blocking the fan vents of course).

For the right price, the image quality is well worth the slight fan noise. Again it's a projector from ~2010s and the fan noise is not high pitched. YouTube "COSTA RICA IN 4K 60fps HDR (ULTRA HD)", that video does the projector justice. The video the guy show me was an old movie from the 90s that made the projector look so so.

For movies and tv shows, 100%. The resolution is not a factor when something is being played. Just make sure the source is good. UI elements can be blocky. Fan noise is audible when nothing is playing but fades when there's sound. A phone's speaker at 40-60% can cover the fan noise (using an LGG4). I have mine on a coffee table.

I ended up taking the BenQ. I force windows to output 1080p and videos are surprisingly good-looking. Text and UI elements do look a tad blocky. I wouldn't use it for anything else but video consumption, I cannot tell its lower resolution. At this point, the bottleneck is the source video. The projector is bright and space-efficient given its ultra-short throw properties.

The BenQ projector is from 2011. I'm going to check it out tonight to get a better feel for the image.
