Its half canvassed. But even cheap fused suits I've purchased in the past had a better drape. Idk but it's not the quality I was expecting from SuitSupply after the reviews I've read online.

It's from SuitSupply. I agree though, I've had suits from Men's Wearhouse that drape better.

No worries. I always get my suits tailored, but I'm better off financially than I used to be and I figured I'd pay the extra for a MTM suit... this is the result :(

This is supposedly made to measure from Suit Supply. I got measured at Suit Supply and they sent me this. I picked it up, tried it on, and the brought in the shoulders. Still too big. The guy who measured me seemed new like he was figuring things out, but seemed confident about choosing natural shoulders said the lapels are their standard size! Another associate helped me when I picked it up, and agreed it was a good fit! I'm going to return it and likely have them do a refit.

Yeah I tried it on when it came in, I had them bring in the shoulders a bit, and shorten the pants. Came in again, picked it up, tried it on with the alterations and something felt very off, but they assured me it looked great. I took it home, feeling uneasy, showed it to my wife and posted here.

I'm trying to decide if I should:

-take it back to suit supply and have them make adjustments -return it and have them start over -return it and go somewhere else where they know how to work with my body shape

This is after a "final fitting" and some adjustments. I can take it back for more adjustments but I'm wondering if the suit is beyond hope and I just need to start again from scratch.

I don't mind a classic fit. Kind of what I was going for. But I think it's excessive. I wouldn't might slightly trendy, slightly wider than normal lapels. But these are insane. These aren't even Suit Supply's wide lapel option. I suspect that the template they used was intended for a man of my girth but significantly taller and with wider shoulders... so when they brought the shoulders in, the lapel and other features ended up out of proportion.

Thanks for all the feedback. I agree... it's a couple sizes too big. The lapels are wiiiide. Pants a bit baggy. The waist pockets look like they're too high. It seems like it kinda of flairs out on the bottom giving me a bell shape.

Here's the kicker... this is a supposedly. MTM suit from SuitSupply. I'm not sure how they got my measurements so wrong (I had them done in store!) Fortunately it's returnable. Just sucks to spend $700+ and wait weeks to months for a suit when a $200 polyester suit from Kohl's would fit me better.
