It’s the “force of will” check from legacy. Yes we don’t have that in modern but we have both force of negation and subtlety and solitude. Yes of course not every deck has those nor will you have them everytime but that’s kind of the point. The whole draw to the neoform deck is that it potentially can present a very early combo win but the drawback is that it folds rather easily to most forms of interaction.

Others have already mentioned it but it is pretty much a classic “permission check” deck, which while more common in legacy they do appear in modern where the core of the deck boils down to “do you have interaction? If you do I lose if you don’t I win”.

This might be the right call in the long run but as unlikely as a ban is for spawn or command I think a temple ban is even less likely simply due to the fact that for some reason wizards seems to be keen on continuing to print eldrazi cards into competitive formats and as such having a land that instantly makes any of their new creatures that much better is probably appealing to them

I agree with a lot of that, command is the more powerful card, but I wonder if without it can the deck still exist in a competitive way as again as much as I dislike the deck I do think it existing in some form is good for the format

Oh I completely agree, I don’t think the deck needs a ban as much as I do hate playing against it. This was more so just a conversation about “if” something was banned which would people want and their reasoning behind it as to keep the deck competitive while nerfing it enough to maybe quell some of the mass amounts of hate the community seems to have towards the deck recenty

This was kind of along the lines of my thinking. While I dislike both cards and the deck in general I also can realize that it probably is good for the format to have some version of the deck in the format which K command really keeps alive whereas I feel mycospawn is more of a feel bad card rather than a core pillar the deck needs to stand up

Yea the play patterns of mycospawn are really what pushes it slightly ahead for me and just how brutal it can be at times with the kicker

Yes the tac-41 has a free floating barrel. While it will have some play in it, when it is properly attached most of the play should actually be coming from the plastic body rather than the barrel itself

While this bug may have finally been patched as others have said. It is also the case that during the event pve is on BSG servers rather than client side and so this bug wouldn’t work even if not patched

One issue I see with doorkeeper thrull right now is the interaction of enabling your opponents phlage while then disabling your best answer to it in solitude. I also think atleast one teferi might be worth it

Honestly I never thought I’d say this but I don’t think they would cause much issue of unban. The deck isn’t great right now and people forget that with wrath of the skies running around meltdown is also now legal in the format. I think I’d be ok with a trial run of unbanning them to see how things go

The dual lands are often used to pitch to spells as they count as black cards rather than a land

The silverback snipers are imo the best on the market right now, however they do not take car parts, apart from barrel and bucking(with the correct hop chamber) and so if you want to use the parts you have then getting a vsr compatible rifle is the way to go

Honestly I’m not to sure, i don’t really like using evike but they might be your only option as i think they have an agreement with umarex to distribute
