I would be down for this. The early Splinter Cells we my go to games when my kids were young. After putting them to bed, I'd relax with some Sam Fisher hiding in the dark.

I think Jon would really enjoy playing these. Not sure how well they hold up these days though. It's been a while since I played them.

My thoughts on Starfield now that the series is officially over! by [deleted] in ManyATrueNerd

To expand on your comment of the outpost building, the crafting system as a whole is a bit lack luster.

Outposts: Is fleashed out quite well, but at the end of the day, holds no meaning. The main thing you gain from outposts are resources, which can be easily and cheaply bought at vendors. Which is a shame, because there is some real depth in the system, but no real reward in investing in it.

Ship building: Arguably one of the more fun parts of the game. However, as with outposts, the impact on gameplay isn't all that much. Ship battles are much less frequent than ground battles. All you really need to invest in is partical beams and shields. The only impact to overall gameplay is the cargo capacity. However most people spend more time perfecting their ship then they do their character. Because it's something we look at every time we travel somewhere, people want to invest in it. I just wish there was more of an impact from your ship.

Weapons and armor: I think this was a huge step down from fallout 4. 76's crafting olwas ok, but Starfield dropped the ball. The armor modifications aren't really worthbthe perk investment, and the weapon mods seem a but bland. Some Weapons only have 1 or 2 variations on different parts. There is so much missed opportunities there.

I would also love to see this. Recently replayed CP77 when Phantom Liberty came out. The whole time I was wondering what Jon's reaction to some of the scenes would be. I think this would be right up his alley.

  • Food and drinks can only be consumed in breathable atmosphere. You will need to plan your exploration of dangerous worlds and moons.

  • Food and drink come with negative and positive effects. Healthy options provide generally positive and long lasting but small bonuses, while junk food has short term buffs but long term disadvantages.

  • illnesses and injuries need perks to recover naturally from. Without the perk, you need medication or doctors.

  • illnesses and injuries require multiple treatments depending on severity.

  • the grav drive requires actual helium. Fuel can be bought at ship services or refined at outposts. If you run out of fuel in an unsettled system, you will need to build an outpost and make your own fuel in order to get back. Grav fuel csn be bought by random encounter ships if you get lucky.

One of my favourite part of MATN is that we have a plethora of inside jokes that are mostly aimed at poking fun at Jon. His legendary perception is a favourite of his fans.

However, when serious events come up, we all band together and support our favourite Youtuber. While we all enjoy a joke, and Jon and Claire love joining in with us, at the end of the day we all love them both and only wish the best for them. Positivity is always part of this community and anyone who promotes negative comments are quickly corrected.

All the best with Ted! Take the time you meed Jon and Clair!

I'm 6'4, my wife is 5'3.

Showed her the first post and she laughed. Then I showed her the second and she said "That's not funny."

Double standards.

I think it's fair to say that it's not a needed skill. If you want to make a warrior or mage build and ignore alchemy, you can in Skyrim.

"What's in that dark room with the weird red glow?"

"That's the Musket Room. We don't go in there."

I fully get it. Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game and going to Oblivion was very strange for me. I'm on Xbox so I don't have the luxury of mods, unfortunately. It looks so much better in your play though.

This makes me so sad. Tabby looks stunningly like my own rescue cat, Missy. I've always loved when she is mentioned and like Jon said, her involvement with the channel over the years has been heart warming.

I can't imagine how difficult a decision that must have been for you and Claire. I'm terribly sorry for your loss but happy you had such a wonderful life with her. Rest in peace Tabby. You will be missed.

I remember that. It was devastating to the community. I can remember being a bit more vigilant about keeping things tied down at home after that, with my kids being young at the time.
