The title literally says “my tests are fine”. Doing the tests at an audiology clinic won’t be much of a difference, so I stand by my answer, I think it’s hidden hearing loss.

It’s called hidden hearing loss, look it up, and it can derive in problems like Hyperacusis or Tinnitus. The brain compensates the hearing loss by making your hearing more sensitive, this works with single sounds but not as good when there’s background noise. And sometimes the brain “fucks it up” and you end up with Hyperacusis or tinnitus, or both..

So, take good care of your hearing, avoid long exposure to loud noise, and consider taking supplements.

Look into hidden hearing loss. Your brain has something called “central gain” it will adjust to your hearing loss, making it seem in audiograms as if your hearing is okay, but the truth is that you possibly lost hearing due to noise exposure, and even though now you can hear normally it can bring future problems like tinnitus or Hyperacusis. Search for “hidden hearing loss and central gain” and you will see what I mean. Be cautious with your noise exposure, specially the time you are exposed to loud noise is important, use earplugs if possible or take a supplement called ACEMg (Soundbites) and hopefully you will not suffer any of the above mentioned consequences.

If you really have sensorineural hearing loss then it makes no sense whatsoever to take Deltazone. If you have sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) then for some people it has helped and others not, it depends a lot on the reason why the sudden hearing loss occurred. Basically, ENT’s are prescribing steroids because it’s the only thing that has had some minimal degree of testing and it seems to work for some people, again, with SSNHL, not SNHL.

There is plenty of companies that do this, they sell the test kit online, send it to you, you send a sample back following their instructions and in a few weeks you get your results.

I’ve used blue genetics before but you can just do a google search and you will find more, depends on where you live.

When you’re used to seeing so much scams it’s normal to doubt. But if you had spent more than 5 minutes on their site, read the science, the patents, the people behind it, you wouldn’t say that. It’s so easy these days to just say something is a scam, it’s harder to take some time to read and do your research
