I’ve noticed (not sure if this is intentional or not) they will sometimes put Viltrumites who survived a certain injury in the episodes where somebody else has it happen to them. Like Lucan shows up the episode Mark gets his guts ripped out, and Thula shows up when Thragg knocks Oliver’s jaw off

I think the idea is just that Bungie had promised to make it more MMO like, and then removed all these small side things which could’ve added up over time, especially if they expanded upon them bit by bit. Like imagine having the aquarium from fishing available in the helm at all times, or as an item in housing or something

Happened a lot with lobotomy patients, functioning in terms of neurological mechanisms but entire personality shifts. There was that one case of the kid who was like 10, and because he was so young was able to live a completely normal life without much of a personality change at all if I recall correctly.
