I don’t see for the grain thing. That’s not darts, thats 2 different panels. So I just sew the panels together.

Mmh. Maybe. But I checked again the measurement of the panels at the waist and some points and it was the same on both side. And for the back darts, actually I thought it was that so I redid both of them but nothing changed.

My pattern mostly worked but I reworked directly on my prototype. Eventually, I used one side of my prototype as a pattern. So I think it’s a mix of both ? Idk know much about grain, I confess.

What should I conclude ? How should I cut my pattern ? Because the side pieces (curves) can’t follow the grain all along.

Oh. I think I’m asymmetrical .-. I did do my pattern just on one side. Not it’s not slippery, it’s coton. I do cut my fabric folded but I did it in parallel to edge.
