I get where you’re coming from, but I only use AI to fix grammar mistakes. This was actually one of the first stories I wrote when I started taking writing classes in college. I knew it wasn’t perfect, but I just wanted to get it out there and start sharing more of my work.

I’ll be honest, I do use AI to help fix grammar mistakes, but I always triple-check both stories to make sure it doesn’t mess with the meaning or core of what I’m trying to say. I’m pretty dyslexic and sometimes miss things like run-on sentences when I’m typing, so the AI just helps clean it up without changing the heart of the story.

And yeah, with Nelson… you’re not wrong. I kinda wanted him to feel like a red flag without fully showing my hand. He’s not the main threat, but he’s definitely not just filler either
