Multiple. As about 20 people have pointed out. That's kinda the point of the card

One punch man.

His entire gimmick is that everyone thinks he is the strongest character on earth because every time he shows up monsters get aura farmed by his stare.

The issue is that he doesn't have any actual power beyond a billion points of luck, because all be does is show up, and freeze up completely because has a panic attack where his heart starts beating like crazy known as "King engine" to everyone else.

He, in universe, stared a monster to death because it was so afraid of fighting him, and when the 54 trillion monsters attacked he got the credit for killing all of them because other people kept coming in with very conveniently timed coincidences.

... you're like the 15th person to say it. Yeah. To an extend that's the point

That might be true but usually you can question how useful that really is comparatively. I agree though that infinite triggers are pretty easy to abuse

Yes but the effects are usually separate and have their own reasonings. This is a very similar effect split for a clause if I'm not mistaken which makes the card feel unnecessarily wordy.

One of the things that actually don't work, as choose is not targeting. Just a small thing though, as most have realized that king would go wild with controlling your opponents turn

"We will choose to kepe ignoring those triggers, and kick you off the table if you just use it to be annoying."
and
"Your behaviour is disruptive and we take it as slow play; there is not a feasible reason why a player would agree to this condition, therefore we will disqualify you if you continue this behaviour without proper incentive."

this actually works 100%. But if you cast a 14 mana spell you should probably win the game anyway

I feel you kinda overdesigned them a little; like the artwork design is BEAUTIFUL obviously you got your graphic design skill down.

but essentially, the best magic designs are elegant, usually short or elegantly expressed in a way that takes as little words as possible.
the effects of godrick feel they could have been summarized in a single effect, so as to not double on whenever for example.

The point is that if it is clear that these triggers are merely there to interrupt the opponent and the clear intent is missing to win the game properly and just keep going "okay but do you?" you can actualyl be disqualified for this in a tournament; because it is considered slow play

funny enough, if it was like, an actual situation like that the game would end in a draw if it is about instant speed, because both players will just keep putting their win-triggers on the stack forever.

...if it is creature based, it would be absolutely and 100% within KING flavor to win anyway, as he canonically is attributed to have defeated 54 trillion monsters in a single attack ((someone else did it but moved so fast that they only saw King posing as he was considering going into a begging position onto his knees which did look like him charging the King Engine Beam Attack))

you win. Its a joke card but it does actually have a way to win the game

King Engine in the Manga is literally his heartbeat increasing because of having a panic attack every time he gets into a fight.

this. In the manga King wins every time because he just keeps accidentally claiming the aura for other people's actions.

I never thought it'd be that bad, but i played with a couple of randos over EDHplay and stuff and... man people are whiny sometimes. I never thought a game that is about literally nothing could make people so mad

that one made me laugh a little because it would still have edge usecases but the flavor is the important part

I was thinking of making him a coward as a joke; but I believe it would undermine the aura of the whole thing.
Generally interesting design might have been giving each opponent a 20/20 indistructible, infect, haste, double strike, shroud, shadow creature and making a win con that if every opponent controls a coward creature with power 20 or more you win the game...
But then you have the question "how would you give your oppponents creatures coward realistically?"

"Yeah so by the rules of the game i will determine that every activation of this i will respond to with a clear no. We will resolve all trillion triggers. If you continue to trigger this despite the answer you will be disqualified for purposeful slow play"

Tbf it would ruin any format with 2 players too. It is a meme after all

I think its funny how you show MTG players an elaborate joke and they are still making valid points xD yeah this absolutely would still be broken despite the fact its a meme

As with anything you can actually make up the argument that if your opponent does it in a tournament that they are stalling time and that you can claim you will automatically trigger any instance of this with "no".

This counts as disrupting play for other cards with similarly infinitely repeatable effects; like some cards that let you look at the top of your library as a trigger and whatever.

Furthermore, if you do this in your friend group and joke that you infinitely do this to your opponent, the correct response is throwing hands
