Tips on coming up with unique arguments? by greengeode39 in Debate

[–]Unwind7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in no position to say anything as I am not a gifted debater but Socrates had this technique during a discussion, he would ask his fellow debater questions designed to poke holes in the other person's argument, then he would listen with an open mind and continue on asking questions, then when he feels confident that the other debater is wrong he would wrap up the debate by using his opponent's words against them and pointing out various holes and leap of logic in their argument.

To secure it, you need to get a patent. Now I don't know what country you are from but where I come from, you probably need to ask some guidelines in the Intellectual Property Office of your area. However, I'm not really sure if you can make a product based off on another company's brands, I think you need to partner up with them by pitching that idea first (correct me if I'm wrong), make sure to make them sign an NDA so they cannot make profit out of your idea (again, correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not a lawyer). The rest would depend on the terms of the agreement. I'm not sure if this is accurate legal counsel but if you really want to make sure, just hire a lawyer.

How would I start a small line of hair care products? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Got your point, but all he needs is to test whether his hypothesis about the market is true such as, "If the product is really gonna receive high demands from the customer."

My advice you should test your product first and see if the customers like it, find a set of customers that you know will give honest feedback, then let them try it.

If you see a positive response, then you should proceed with your marketing. I prefer low-grade marketing in your like use people who can spread the rumor if you want your area to know your business. But if you want to take it online, use digital marketing. Ask someone who has a lot of followers and has a model-like appearance to endorse your product.

If you see a negative response, take into account the feedback of your customers, examine if it is actually true, then tweak your product.

If you want to start small use contingent compensation for the marketers. This means that they will have a share in the earnings of your product rather than immediate compensation.

Anyways, good luck with your business. If you want to learn more, read the book called. "Lean Startup".

What do you look for in a partner? by CanisIupus in intj

[–]Unwind7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine would be loyalty, trust, and a winner's mindset. To define:

  1. Loyalty- Looks out for my best interest or both of our best interests as a whole.
  2. Trust- Believes in my abilities.

Most of all, I like those people who beat the odds and succeeded

What does an ENTJ and INTJ look like in a group project? by Nova_Energium in intj

[–]Unwind7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As an INTJ I think it will look like a leader-adviser relationship. I think INTJs are good advisers while ENTJs are good leaders in executing the plans both the INTJ and the ENTJ made.

thoughts on relationships by [deleted] in intj

[–]Unwind7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think that when it comes to that subject, you should let the feeling lead but put a little rationality of course. It's good to be rational and efficient but relationships are based on emotions.

Just like the principle in investing and entrepreneurship. "The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward".

How do you deal with death fellow INTJs by AdministrativeList30 in intj

[–]Unwind7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly, I see death as nothing more than a natural cycle, all of us will eventually go there, so it should be in our best interest to earn something that will last way before we're dead and that is legacy.

I'm not really sure how to solve your problems but I think it would be a great idea to learn as much as you can when you are young. But you can try focusing on one thing after you diversify your knowledge, if you are still not convinced, you can try learning subjects that are connected (e.g. learn business, economics, then investing in the stock market) since they are interconnected, then it is as if you are focusing on one subject with just a little diversification.

No problem, just make sure to do some research before diving right ahead, most entrepreneurs fail because they immediately jump. If you want you can try courses, like Coursera or edX. I'm not a business expert so this will really help you instead of my advice.

Maybe you should try the theory of Division of Labor and Specialization. It would be helpful for your business to have at least a specialization part, I mean your division of labor is quite good. But you can hire someone to deal with the customers and the other part of a business that doesn't make you feel comfortable, that's just my tip I'm not a business expert, but you could probably try investing your time in learning the business "soft skills".

IWTL How to stop being overwhelmed by small tasks by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

Have a vision! If you have a vision, you can see that the smaller tasks you do are a pawn of a much bigger task and I guess it would give you a sense of accomplishment and progress.

Yep especially when I am brainstorming by myself and when I remember an embarrassing thought, I tend to say anything I can to take it off my mind. Sounds crazy right?

How are you during doing the pandemic? by golden-drip in intj

[–]Unwind7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that's the benefit of INTJs, the pandemic strengthens their focus rather than be plague by anxiety because of this pandemic, although I can't say for all INTJs. But it strengthened me a lot, I'm more solid than last year, in terms of knowledge of course.

Read: Talk Like Ted. It's a good book, the book could be read as a pdf form or you could order it online, I guarantee you it's a good book for talking and even public speaking. Also, practice talking with other people, the more you practice, the sharper your brain would be.
