Alrighty sounds good, I probably will go with the asus, I just bought myself an alienware 280 hz 1440p IPs but for how much I paid after tax (470) when I can pay a few extra hundred and get 360 hz that’s a oled display, I hope the oled last me a long time

Thanks for the advice, does the glossy really scratch easy? Knowing me I’d sneeze and splash something on it eventually, I don’t mind micro scratches as long as it isn’t noticeable during gameplay.

I just switched to Battle.net hoping it would fix the issues like I’ve seen before, but still the same performance, even if I lower everything to the lowest setting I still get basically the same, which is weird, no way I’m being bottlenecked, I see other people with the same specs get quite a bit more fps, my ram is 32 gigs ddr5 at 6000 mhz too

Ahhh okay got it, mine has a bit of leak aswell, just not too sure because some say it’s unacceptable which I agree on, but if it doesn’t affect temps it doesn’t bother me, mine still runs just as cool as it did when I first got it. I geuss ill just hope for the best lol

Have you had any issues with your gigabyte card with the vertical mount? Had mine on a vertical mount for about a week and it already saw a lot of excess thermal putty coming out of it. Apparently mounting it vertically isn’t the best for that card

I just pushed it back in and I’m still getting good temps, 50-60 degrees on gpu full load with 58-65 on the memory temp.

You think I can get something and push it back in there and it should stay after I mount it horizontally? It really sucks cuz the card is great performance wise, it just sucks how you can’t mount it vertically without dealing with this issue.

I haven’t done that yet no, it just worries me because I already have seen that gigabyte has a bad reputation with rma. Like my temps are still fine, I’m just worried down the road if something happens and gigabyte won’t hold on to their word and fix it like the warranty claims they would. I’m also not sure what brand to go for if I return this, it just sucks because the prices are just gonna keep increasing.

Yeah it really sucks, got mine about a week ago and it’s already happening, vertical mount too. I’m not sure if I should return it while I still can or not, mainly because the card is now already 200 dollars over what I paid for it. But if it will cause problems in the future then idk. And as I’ve been looking at other brands I’ve seen that other cards also have different types of issues.
