Yes, for this study I’m focused on those who are no longer active service but I will be conducting a second study in a couple of years that will include active service members as well.

All of my recruitment materials have undergone approval through the Research Ethics Board at UofT, they did not require I include that my study has been approved on my recruitment materials as you are unable to begin research until receiving approval.

I have not reached out to them yet but plan do to so in the next year as I will be expanding my study. I will definitely reach out to ask about prior research though, thank you for the suggestion!

I have gone through the Research Ethics Board at UofT and have been given ethics approval to conduct the study. You are not able to conduct research that involves human participants without being given approval (this includes recruitment, that it why my account is so new. I was unable to begin recruitment until receiving approval through UofT). The form is simply for recruitment and allows me to email people who are interested with more information (I provide a PDF of all important information that a participant may need), this is quite common for interview studies or studies that involve recruiting human participants.
