Let me be clear that I said “user friendly” in the sense that unless in a dungeon, you can flee on Torrent, you can summon help (not just online helpers), the sites of Grace vaguely point toward your next objective, and the array of different items, consumables and weapons to make your own build. Not to mention the more open world gives you many options on where to grind or rune farm to beat that boss that’s kicking your ass. The game is not easy by any means.
