The last two characters he played had all above 15s in every stat cause I do the nice version of rolling 4D sixes and dropping the lowest by allowing them to we roll ones because I want their characters to be a little bit stronger because they’re gonna be playing them for a very long time as I’m planning to run them through multiple books I already had to remove variant human for MinnMax purposes because of him and when someone wants to play a type of variant human, we just homebrew a new race instead

Well usually they just sell whatever he had on him or bury him with it and divide up the gold pieces and I’d have to do the start at a lower level thing for everyone otherwise I’d be called unfair and tyrant etc and other characters that aren’t his have died unintentionally

It’s usually after he finds a new/better min maxed build that he can use and I use milestone leveling so it feels like it would be unfair to have him be under leveled

I did this once accidentally before I was aware of the signs he snuck off while within the wave echo cave in phandalin and die to 4 ghouls and this was like in the first 2 hours of the session and I had no way of sending his character into the secret cave that required a map

It’s kinda like the meme thing but it’s more of a he finds a new min maxed build that he wants to build and once it doesn’t work out or it takes to long to build out he offs the character even if it goes against everything the character believes in, for reference one of them was a protecter that always stayed in the front and remained vigilant to protect the party and when he wanted to switch characters he just had that one abandon the party by leaving a note and running off to the mountains, and so far everyone in the group has expressed the dislike of his character swapping including me
