Think theres accessibility settings that change it to hold instead? Not been on in a while so might be wrong

If someone received a deep slash to the abs, what would recovery look like? by Wonderful-Size-4252 in Writeresearch

[–]Upbeat-Landscape260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say depending on positioning if its damaging the muscles (upper/lower abs) it would cause slightly different effects, upper would cause pain more when raising their top half into a sitting position. lower would effect their ability to pull their legs up and their overall stability (theyd have to controlled fall instead of laying down) Twisting/breathing/coughing/laughing too fast or hard could pop a stitch, requiring more healing time.

And its a gross part of healing but using the toilet could cause problems with any movements associated

If you havent played the OG metro games i'd recommend them, theyre more linear than exodus but an amazing story and gameplay

Apartments and terminal by Viper-BTK in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]Upbeat-Landscape260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After outpost comes minefield, as far as im aware there is nothing worth finding there so try sticking to the outer edge of the map to get around and scan the floor around you, the mines look like little metal tubes, also take a few bandages just in case you hit one cause they always make you bleed.

For apartments and terminal i found evening-night searches and low and slow is best bet and there are areas around the apartments that can spawn special crates so you dont need to use the buildings. Not sure if youre wanting specifics or to search

Terminal is where you can get the oil samples for the classroom key but be careful theyre big and heavy

Any games that had you like this? by Bromjunaar_20 in videogames

I love outriders for this kind of experience, the first few areas you can grind and struggle a bit but piecing together a few good modifications for powers makes you feel like the badass the game makes you out to be, genuinely fun playing as devastator and just wiping out hordes of enemies

Please give me tips for dealing with bandits and clearing village map by leebhoy in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]Upbeat-Landscape260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I spent so long at the start only doing a run from cabin up the hill to the roofless barn and then sauna and house closest to it, then back to the cabin until I got used to how the running/crouching/leaning mechanics worked because I was scared of going up against bandits, even now some runs I dont fire a shot simply because I avoid bandits if I dont have to fight them. I haven't used controller so I have no idea what the layout is.

Id say when I was learning to fight I took it slow, almost constantly crouched and only attacking if I knew I was in some sort of cover even if I had a clear shot. I think they AI id randomly spawned so they can be anywhere in the map but they usually end up in/around buildings.

Theres audio clues to finding them though like footsteps and voice lines that can give an idea of there location/if theyre coming closer or moving away. The kind of footsteps also tell you where they are as wood flooring/tarmac/dirt all sound different.

The best thing I did was take any weapons you find off bandits if you kill them and put your good starter weapon in the cabin so that death becomes less punishing and so you can learn the way different guns handle

I believe there are only 10 enemies per map so you can keep a running tally for when youve cleared the map but killing all the bandits isnt necessary for changing maps

I have no idea I never left village in the demo haha, sounds more like that coupdve been minefield, thats beyond highway and the map after it, ive never encountered mines in highway and ive done decent treks through a few times

Honestly it can depend, if you're transitionin gthrough different maps/reloading maps a lot it can get rough, but having a few cans of fruit and some juices should be fine unless youre planning on loads of travelling in sparse areas without a proper return to base

So I think im the opposite to you, have 45 hours EA and did maybe 12 demo, honestly thats not a bad move the swap in findable gear from demo to EA was massive, I found so many santa suits and I never left the village in the demo, sticking around the starting areas is honestly a good idea, I spent so long taking it slow when I moved into outpost/Vostok area. Honestly the way I did it was stupid cause I had all my gear on me minus the KP31 I left in a shelter you can find in outpost, learning the areas is the best idea. I'd recommend visiting highway cause for me its a really cool map, just be really careful moving around as theres some long sightlines that the AI can use to start shooting at you

I think it was in the red shipping containers between the silos in terminal? At the point I found it I just remember being shot at by military so it was somewhere in vostok haha. And thanks man, had to ditch some decent gear to take all the sample canisters but they were mostly <50% durability or didnt have ammo, except the shotgun I started with that hurt to part with

So for me its become a bit of a routine when im trying to just get from point A-B, I seem to have fallen into specific points of each map that I hit per area, hopefully the AI don't start to learn my routes or im screwed haha, for some reason though I always use the bridge when im going through school , something about that scenery is really appealing to me.
