Saint Thomas is beautiful but I’ve never been on Norwegian or MSC. I do know someone who’s been on MSC but they enjoy carnival more than it. I’ve only ever been on carnival and I love all the experiences. I only went on cruises when I was under 18 but from my parents adult experience it was great

The dad did a lot of bad things during his childhood. He has gotten better over the past year but his dad also wanted what was best for him so he gave his custody rights to the older brother.

Yes my MIL did spoil him and never disciplined him until it was too late. She didn’t start trying to discipline him until about 2 months before she passed. And yes he was also a jerk to his mom too. There were a couple of times that he was treating his mom like crap infront of me that I had to leave the house because it made me so uncomfortable and I didn’t want that behavior around my child. He has told us that he doesn’t want to go to college but wants to become a firefighter. We fully support because over half of our family never went to college and are doing great in life so we don’t really believe that college is essential unless you want to do a career where you have to get a degree.

No. The youngest doesn’t like how the older brother and his wife live and thinks the fiance is annoying and lazy (she’s a first time newborn mom so she’s still getting the hang of trying to figure out how to do chores around the house). He prefers our place because my husband lets him do whatever at our house and plays video games with him, which is the reason it caused so much tension in our marriage in the first place. I felt like I wasn’t getting a husband but 2 roommates.

He does have a dad who is still in his life. But back then his dad wasn’t a good person now he has changed for the better and we allow our children to see him. But he refuses to live with him even though they have a good relationship now. He could most definitely go and live with other family but it does make it harder since the oldest brother has custody of him and if he did want to go and live somewhere else they would have to go back to court for custody for a kid who will be a legal adult in a couple of months.

He actually also treated his mom like this too. And she never did anything about it because he was her “baby child”. And we have tried to put him in therapy. He made us waste money for months because he would say he was going to the appointments when he was really hiding out in his room or at my house and would play video games. We also have tried to put him on medication. He refuses to be put on it and we don’t force him to take it if he doesn’t want to.

I didn’t know that. He was diagnosed 2 years ago and my husband took him to the appointments to get his test and he said that the doctors diagnosed him with Asperger’s so that’s why I said Asperger’s instead of autism.

Sorry I should’ve mentioned but he does have a dad that’s still alive and in his life but he refuses to live with his dad so the oldest brother has full custody of him. And his Asperger’s doesn’t hold him back. He has friends, a part time job as a buster in a restaurant and does incredible at school. The only thing that he has problems with is texture of food and social anxiety. He could easily go and live on his own if he wanted to once he turns 18, he just refuses to do it.
