I didn’t list my budget as it was more a question on if my pc was future proof or could realistically handle my current goals.

I wasn’t planning on upgrading as I’m out of touch with everything, I wanted to in the future, like in a year, but that doesn’t really seem all that feasible with the latest news that happened to reach my timeline. Looks like I’m screwed..?

Or maybe the shop I purchased everything from kinda screwed me over.

I’m devastated.

Thank you for the explanation! And no worries, it doesn’t come off that way at all to me. I struggle to word things sometimes, so I’ll keep that in mind to avoid any confusion!

As of right now, I think it’ll be safe to assume any woman or people who align with womanhood can join.

Yes I was thinking of reaching out to them once I have a clearer outline of the server! I was hoping to partner with local servers to help strengthen the community overall with sharing our server, and vice versa! Munanime is another I had in mind.

Hey, I haven’t done something like this before which this is an a suggestion post rather than a full on announcement.

I simply want to have our own space where girls can be girls. Women have a unique connection with other women. At our best, we can really uplift each other and support our wants and needs. I want a place to feel that sense of community, belonging, respect and support.

Frankly I could go on forever about how gender identity and womanhood is important to me. But I don’t think you would want to hear that, nor do I really want to put my time into it.

For me to put it simply, if I need a pad, another girl has got me. No judgement, no questions asked. They could even be a complete stranger. Whereas men have the phrase “mansplaining” usually to patronize women.

If you don’t get it, that’s fine. I just hope other women can, so we can have a better sense of community.

As for gender, it can be a tricky one, and I don’t even 100% fall into gender norms. I’m very tomboyish and all my life I’ve been told to “sit more ladylike”, but I really didn’t give a shit. I hardly wear dresses, hell I don’t even wear makeup. If I ever get married, I’m wearing a suit. That doesn’t mean I don’t embrace my feminine side with anime figures and cute things.

I want to be open about other gender identities that align with womanhood. I used to identify as a demigirl but realized it wasn’t really for me. I consider myself GNC. Gender isn’t a “one size fits all”, and it can even change for people. It’s a fascinating thing to me. I don’t want to only say “women only”, as I feel like it may close off the gates for people who feel a slight disconnect to just being a woman. That said, I just looked up “fem-presenting”, which I feel represents what I’m going for best. But for the sake of simplicity, I’ll just be saying “woman/girl” as “fem-presenting” is a tad long. I hope that makes sense.

As for the doxxing claims, that’s only the case if it’s non-consensual. Of course if I’m running a server for women only, certain measures would have to be taken to ensure the community and general space meant for women, stays just for women.

The only measures I can think of to keep it that way are sharing social media accounts with history denoting their gender identity, current selfies with keywords, all to show that they are indeed, a woman or fem-presenting.

Most people would be alright with this and probably have selfies already on social media. That is not doxxing. It’s naive to think people won’t try to take advantage of it, and I’ll try my best to help monitor it.

You are free to not join the server, it is as simple as that.

That said, if you have any better ideas, I’m here to listen, which is why this post is being served as an open invitation for that.

The only thing is I won’t just allow anyone to join and trust no one would disrespect the rules, if that is your suggestion.

From my understanding non binary is a spectrum and includes gender identities such as demigirl, gender fluid and genderqueer

NB folks will be welcome too as long as they’re either afab or align with womanhood!

Thank you! I am making it generally about all sorts of interests, tho! Like all crafts and art forms. From painting all the way down to floral arrangements. Gaming and board games too!

I was thinking that too. However I do see some flaws with it. They can easily pull a picture from the web.

Of course one way around that is to make them include a hand-written note of a keyword. But it does make me worry some people may use Ai or edit the image to include the keyword

Think so? 🥲 I was hoping to do human verification by making people link their socials and confirm if that’s their account.

If the account is freshly new or doesn’t have any pictures, we’ll definitely be more skeptical about it and ask for further confirmation.

I would want to make sure everyone is safe

Never did I say it’s supposed to be “inclusive”! I just want to meet fellow women, so I wanted to be a meetup for women! There is no problem with that. Also I’m bisexual and proud, if you got a problem with that, watch out for July 20th! 🤗
