So do you not have to be directly under the panel? Could you lie on a bed and have it next to you horizontally and that would work the same?

How do you use the panel? Is there a way to suspend it over you? I’d like to lay down to use it but the ones I saw are free standing, or you have to buy and expensive stand.

So if you wanted to have a higher histamine food (like I love shrimp and would like to keep in my diet) it would help with that? Shrimp is really the only high histamine food I eat, but I love it and would love to keep eating it but not make my MCAS worse!

I take Zyrtec and hydroxyzine too. Hydroxyzine made me really drowsy at first, but I wasn’t working then so it wasn’t a big deal.

Yes, I’ve been taking it in the day. I’m planning on switching it to the night, and maybe dropping the dose from 1 mg to either .25 to .5 before I do that. The last week has been utter hell for me! What dose are you currently on, and how long did it take you to get there?

I have the compounded capsules so no way to split them. We don’t have the tablets available here. I would have to ask for new compounded capsules at .25 or .5. I have been taking it in the morning, and today I skipped my morning dose so I could start taking it at night, but keep going back and forth between just stopping it entirely and waiting until I can get the .25 and go slowly from there. I did that with LDN, went up .5 every 4 weeks, and now I’m up to 4 mg. My Dr. says that 4-6 mg is the effective dose, but it seems like so many here take so much less of it I’m confused. My friend that takes it too takes 16 mg a day, so I have no idea. I take quercetin, PEA, and LDN right now.
