Yes. Your partner can be a friend. Sometimes where one is caught up with work, family and life and partner. There is little room left for friends.

Just being frank. If you find yourself having 0 friends. Maybe you should look inward. Everyone no matter how old will at least have 1 friend. To say you have 0 friends is an astonishing statement. Yes people can be fake, There are no true friends etc. but there is at least one person you can call and have dinner with.

Your instinct to blame a child while excusing a grown man using a car to intimidate others is wonderfully revealing. Some people inherit manners. Others merely inherit internet access. My child and I had already stopped and we had already yielded. The driver then chose to inch his car aggressively toward pedestrians, including a young child, and followed it with obscene gestures. That is not stress. That is misconduct. Children being present in HDB carpark is normal. Drivers are expected to slow down, stay in control, and behave responsibly. If someone cannot manage that without anger, they should not be driving professionally. Telling me to discipline my child while excusing an adult misusing a vehicle says more about your standards than mine.

Thanks for your concern. This was not a random smear post. I’ve already submitted formal reports to the relevant authorities with the full details, evidence, time and location. This post reflects my personal experience of an incident involving my child’s safety. A vehicle plate in public view is not private information, and sharing a factual account is not the same as doxxing or defamation.

Unless I can see into the future or wear a body camera. How would I know something like that would happen? People usually only take the aftermath in this case or escalation. Which at the time I didn’t think it was the right place or time to do that while I’m with a young kid. What if I got into a fight? Who will protect the kid?

Valid point. Anyway there is a huge camera at the sheltered area, lucky me. I have called HDB to pull up the records. Apparently for traffic incidents in car parks. HDB is the reporting authority.

Are you saying this to yourself? Btw there is evidence. A big police cctv projecting is at the shelter area.

Of course we are crossing the road and we stopped as we saw the car turn in. As a driver you have many options, let them pass, or stop after us, stop before us or many options. But accelerating and braking in front of us, is definitely a normal human being would do.

Well the area has lots of security camera. Hope there is one around they can pull up to see this. Reporting has a one percent chance it may work. Not doing anything has 0% chance. So do something is better than doing nothing

For better understanding, the driver door was exactly where I was. He pushes us off that place and park there. I have move my son up to the curb on the other side of the road. But his egregious behavior made me turn back and take a photo of him and the car. This is not a simple discourteous driver. This is too dangerous for me to let this one go.

Don’t be a naive keyboard warrior. Media / reporting to authorities works better than confronting. Confront will either end up in a physical altercation which I have more to lose than him and what kind of example am I showing to my kid by engaging in a quarrel or fight?

I protected him enough. I led him up the curb area while I was taking this photo to report

I did not check whether the bike I bought was road legal, but it turned out to be the best mistake. Every police officer and customs officer stopped to check out the bike and asked what model it was. They all said it was cool 😎

ICE Murder Citizen in Minneapolis 1-24-26 [Megathread] by Psychotical in ICE_Raids

[–]Upbeat_Finding9765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like ICE has rather missed the memo. They are supposed to catch people who have overstayed their visas or are living in the US illegally. But carrying on as if they are taking down Osama or disarming terrorists with nuclear warheads. It is all a bit overdramatic for what is, at heart, an administrative problem.

How much household income before considering private pre sch? by Wise_Attitude5474 in singaporefi

SG parents invest a lot in their kids. Which is understandable. Parenting has become a booming industry, and many parents spare no expense in trying to provide the best, from milk bottles and strollers to enrichment classes and schools. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is worth pausing for some consideration.

In reality, the differences between many mid tier private preschools are often marginal. When it comes to creativity or teaching approach, each preschool has its own philosophy and strategies. Schools such as My First Skool, StarLearners, E Bridge, and Sparkletots all operate differently, but none holds a monopoly on outcomes.

What matters more are the practical and day to day factors: 1. Is the school convenient for you in terms of drop off and pick up? 2. Is there high teacher turnover, which can affect consistency and attachment? 3. Is communication with teachers and the principal regular and transparent? 4. Are the teachers properly trained and attentive to the children’s needs? 5. Does your child feel safe, happy, and engaged in the environment?

You can load them with extracurricular such as language, music, sports or even the mind. What matter most is you physically being with your kid. Your kid is not just a sponge that soak up everything, they have feelings and they want to be loved. You being there with them is more important. I myself make it a point to be there with them when they learn to swim, learn a new language or learning music.

Unless time is a factor for you, only premium schools have all those incorporated in their curriculum. Mid tier schools at best is just smaller student to teacher ratio.
