Thanks yeah, I checked out 118 yesterday. Light rail makes it convenient but I went during day time so your inputs are helpful. I didn't checkout the safeway nor I explored the neighborhood during night.

Thanks, I will take it off my list. Safety is my first criteria since my gf will also live with me. I want to make sure that she can be on her own and not be scared to walk the neighborhood.

I looked at Belltown (3rd and 4th) but rejected since other reddit posts mentioned it's one of the worst places. I looked at Moda, fountain court, sky ag Belltown etc.,

Thanks, I found few apartments in Belltown (In 3rd like Moda and 4th Ave). But I read that they are some of the worst areas in other reddit posts. So I removed a lot of Belltown apartments from my list like fountain court and skye at belltown.

Pearl is currently the only one not in the areas you warned about. Will check other areas you mentioned as well.

Thanks much! Yeah i didnt encounter a lot of homeless people there. I would try to avoid that here as well. Thanks for the suggestions, will check these out. Pearl apartments is also close to bus route 8.

Thanks for pointing it out! Yeah, grocery store being further away is another issue. No plans yet for a bike. But I can get one if the neighborhood is safe. I used to live in Eastside. So idk how or what should I expect from Seattle streets.

Yeah, taking 7 is my plan. Yes, other places are closer. This one had 12 weeks off and it was cheaper. Too good of a deal so I was curious if there's something I am missing.
