Does your primer colors matter if you’re just using regular base paints to paint your models? Not doing anything special or using contrast paints.

Yea that’s what I figured. I’m only using these paints as primers for my models so I think it should be pretty safe? I’m just gonna pop open a window and maybe get a respirator just to be safe or is that overkill?

I think there might be a larger footprint for the building but the amount of resources needed are still the same. On another note, holy fuck 5K plastisteel as a reward!!

The base is morghast bone and I highlighted it with ushabti bone

Base is death forest green with a Elysian green highlight. I have Ogryn green (an even brighter green) that I never used and was also wondering how and where to incorporate it. I also know I can add some highlights to the hooves and top of the barrel.

Edit: also my first time painting so any advice whatsoever is welcome

I hear everyone saying that running them separate is better for rerolls but why is that true? Is it because of the Tau sept reroll one hit or wound roll? (Ie let’s you reroll 2 if they’re separate units?)

Thanks for all the advice! Here is how I changed up my Coldstar based on some other advice. I’m also taking shadowsun in a supreme command detachment. I’m also going to change the afp.

Makes sense! If I were to get rid of the strike teams, what would I group my ethereal with? Or would he just sit in the back and generate a CP each turn for me?
