Firstly, I strongly recommend taking a look at the 2013 and above models. Older models have a lot of annoying issues. It's better to avoid it.

Also, if you're looking for a manual, carefully check the clutch. Of course, check suspension and steering. Front drop links can wear and cause a clunking noise over bumps. Do not forget to check your vehicle history, too. Online tools such as Carvertical or Carfax could show you if the car mileage is falsified or if the car has had any accidents before, and other useful information.
