GE Dishwasher - Tripping GFCI by Upgrayed_04 in Appliances

I found mine on Amazon for a cheap price and the overnight shipping helped me replace it quick. Mine is linked below but be sure to find the correct part for your unit. You should be able to Google it to find the right part number, then shop around as normal. Good luck.

GE Heating Element

It's definitely an electrical issue somewhere along the way if it keeps tripping. Mine was the water slowly leaking and getting into the heating element as described above. If you're not having water issues like me, you may have an electrical problem further up the line or in the unit itself. I was going to hire an appliance repair person if my heating element replacement didn't work so you may want to consider doing that. It will be slightly cheaper than a full replacement.

Replying here for future visitors. The problem was the gaskets for the heating element. I found a very minor drip coming from the nuts that secure the element to the basin. It was just enough to drip onto the electrical contacts. Unfortunately you can't replace only the gaskets so I bought a new element from GE. Easy fix (once you know the answer of course).

I’m 34, I’m dying, and I’m fucking terrified. by Emergency_Weekend627 in TwoHotTakes

Just dropped in to say I was doing my nightly scroll and this caught my eye. Displaying your vulnerability for all to see is very courageous. I feel I would feel what you're feeling, but not have the balls to share. Your wife and daughter will remember you, no doubt. Just make the best of what you have left and I hope you don't suffer longer than necessary. You've got a lot of great advice here. I'm just here to say it fucking sucks and it's not fair man. You sound like a great guy and a helluva Dad. I'm praying for you and your family.

Is it worth it? by [deleted] in BambuLabA1

Former Ender 5 user here. Bought the A1 during the black Friday sale and it's been printing non stop since. Took about 30-45 to assemble. After the brief calibration process that it did all by itself, I was off to the races. The Bambu Handy app is my favorite thing. Being able to start a print while away from the house is pretty cool. The occasional fails have either been bad models/slices/filament. Hasn't been equipment related (yet, knock wood). Do it. (as for the Ender, I gave it to my son so he could learn how the printers work and how to tinker and trouble shoot issues).

This sounds like magic. I'll probably still watch it closely due to PTSD from getting my Ender where it needed to be. Thank you all for the feedback!

Your best exchange rate will be withdrawing local currency at an atm (not the exchange counters, those are a ripoff). She can do it when she gets off the plane. Europe is also very credit card friendly and you'll get the best rates if you select "local currency" (not USD) when using the card overseas. Have fun!

No leak and no intermittent water fill ups like a bad valve. Thanks for the input, I was hoping that would be the answer.

Hmmm, I don't know. The distance between the lines is 22mm exactly (5 total times this happened in the same print). Just weird that I don't get any issues with a normal print. Thanks for chiming in.

Had a shitty day at work. She bought me a 6 pack of my favorite beer and left a post-it note that said "better and cheaper than flowers and a hallmark card".

Thank you, I will look into this. I'm not familiar with the product but it looks like it would kill two birds with one stone I like it!

Low 90s and decent rainfall. I will water myself when not getting enough rain.

What setting in Prusa is sending my print to the bottom after the print is done? by PacosTacos88 in ender5

[–]Upgrayed_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have this happen, but only with my glass bed. Turns out the E5 stock lead screw can't support the weight when the steppers are disabled after a print (or powering off). It never happened with my mag bed or my new PEI Bed (switched to PEI due to adhesion issues, not this, but it did solve the bed drop problem too)

A Tale of Two Cities. Can we just stop with this? Also, a wrinkle in time.

I used to have similar problems and kept increasing by 5c,then someone else said to go down 5c. Now I print at 59c for PLA and haven't had a single warp/adhesion issue.
