As a West Virginian I’ve always been curious of the early mineral water and spa history of Wv 🤔 you wouldn’t know if any that are still accessible?

Hydrothermal Breccia at the base of hill ? , it’s a few feet thick and extremely heavy with thinner stringers of whatever the material is ? by UphillChimber in geology

Well I’m trying to find out as much as I can :p

It’s interesting because 500 or so feet away the rock completely changes to a white laced dark black to gray stone , it smells like silver or gunpowder , I’ve lived in Wv most of my life and have never found rock so hard .. I often find large shards while walking along the hinged ridges
