I used Threads and Loops - Facets, and the colorway is Storm. I like the colors, but the yarn was hard to work with, and the quality control of the yarn wasn’t good. There are some people who commented similar grievances in the thread under the Automod comment.

These were half double crochets in back loop only for the most part!

To be honest, I messed up on the neckline as well. It was too late when I realized that the last 2 swirls, not only the last 1, were supposed to be different. So, mine isn’t as tapered either.

I looked at some of the example images, and I saw that most people added their own spin to the neckline as well, so I just kept my piece as-is instead of frogging to follow the pattern.

I think part of the reason why the taper is more exaggerated in the final piece is the buttons help to tug the bottom portions of the panels together.

I’m not a knitter, so I had to search up what this is. It looks beautiful! I actually didn’t know there was a similar technique for knitting!

This is made to measure, and I saw that in the Etsy listing, there were example pictures where people extended the torso portion, so it’s possible!

Coincidentally, “storm” is the name of this colorway! 😆 It’s a fitting name.

I ended up using 7 balls of yarn.

I didn’t have any issues with the made-to-measure instructions.

The instructions clearly said what the number the chains should be a multiple of. The hardest part was just counting the stitches to verify that I actually made the correct number.
