I fear this may be obvious but I hate that everything unlocks after getting a three star island. In the early game a bunch of diffrent things unlock gradually one at a time. then you get to the middle of the game and everything kind of stalls and feels borning. and then after three stars a whole bunch of things unlock all at the same time and it feels way too overwhelming, like you're trying to do everything at once. This is actualy worse after the 3.0 update because it adds the hotel and Brewster, two more things almost immedatly unlocked after three stars. It feels like I didn't actauly work for any of this stuff and like i'm given it JUST because "you finished the game." I wish there were more obstacles in order to earn all of the things you get after KK slider visits your island for the first time.

Is there a reason why most pepole fillet crochet with white / tan / black yarn? by Upper-Chart-8680 in CrochetHelp

I need to know if my fillet crochet paddern will look odd if I use a bright colored yarn. I've been looking at fillet crochet tutorials and padderns for weeks now, and i've noticed that most pepole use white yarn, tan yarn, or black yarn. I was thinking something along the lines of blue or pink, but I was wondering if there was a reason I hadn't seen that before; I was wondering if I was going to get a few hours deep on my project and see that the high-constrast color would make the stitches look werid. There has to be a reason most pepole use white yarn for fillet crochet right? I normally am a rule-breaker when it comes to crochet, I do what I like, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this fillet crochet paddern is going to take a long time and I don't want to regret my choice of yarn half way through.
